Hey we have an EQ-i 2.0 Certification Course coming up in May in Victoria. It’s been a while since we ran this course in Victoria and we’re really looking forward it! Even if you can’t make it for all three days, you can either take the certification over the first two days, or you can choose to take the third day, the Mastering Emotional Intelligence Course. We have an exciting line up of fresh opportunities in 2017. Our Heart and Science of Leadership Course for Women has new dates in March (February 28th to March 3rd) and we’ll be creating some fresh coaching packages for you to choose from.
This new leadership development program for women is coming to Regina in November! This is a three day interactive course and it’s an opportunity for women to build critical leadership knowledge and skills. This course is running in 2017.

0:52 One day Sam travelled to a conference in Vancouver

1:05 He wondered if emotional intelligence skills

1:11 did better than others.
1:13 So Sam decided to learn how to assess
1:15 and develop emotional intelligence, or EI.
1:19 He found a company that specialized in EI
1:21 and EI certification.
1:23 He got an assessment for himself
1:25 and learned how he could work on his own emotional operating system.
1:29 And most importantly, he got
1:31 He got certified to administer the assessment to others
1:36 He went back to his company and began working with managers who
1:39 wanted help with their leadership skills.
1:41 The CEO was intrigued and volunteered to go first.
1:45 Pretty soon, everyone wanted an assessment.
1:49 The impact was noticed.
1:51 The culture was shifting.
1:53 Sales went up, customer retention went up.
1:56 People were engaged.
1:58 Deadlines were getting met.
2:00 Communication and teamwork improved.
2:03 And Sam? Well Sam was happy.
We’ve been accredited by ICF to provide CCE units to our certification course participants for some time now. There has been a small change to the way we provide the units:
- 9.25 Core Competency Credits,
- 6.27 Resource Credits (second day), and
- 6.25 Resource Credits (third day).
We’ve changed the dates for two certification courses.
In Vancouver the new dates are now May 30th, 31st and June 1st.
And in Calgary the new dates are now August 8th, 9th and the 10th.

We meet up on a regular basis in the cities where we work. On the first day of our Certification Courses, we meet with colleagues and folks for an informal gathering, usually in the hotel lounge. Track us down in 2016 and let us know what you’re up to!
We’ve published our annual Certification Course brochure for 2016. We’ve added Regina to our list of cities this year: April 5-6(7). There’s still a few courses left in 2015 though, just in case you’re looking to get certified sooner.
We’ve posted our new dates for EQ Certifications in Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary and Toronto. You can find the new dates here. We’ve updated some of the store items with these dates and the rest will be updated very soon.
We’ve added an EQ-i 2.0 Certification course to our calendar this fall. We’ll be in Winnipeg on September 14, 15 and 16 to deliver our two day certification and the optional third day.
